These terms of service govern the use of Praxis in education and course-based learning environments.

Last updated: September 26, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Praxis, you accept these terms of service. If you use Praxis as part of a course or educational programme, your education provider local rules and guidelines also apply.

2. Service Description

Praxis is an AI-supported educational system that provides pedagogical feedback and guidance through email-based communication and simulated professional roles.

The service is intended for educational purposes and must not be used as a substitute for professional advice, exercise of public authority, or decisions in real cases.

3. Intended Use

  • Praxis must be used for education, training, and learning.
  • The service is not intended for sensitive personal data.
  • Users must follow instructions from course leaders and teachers.
  • Praxis must not be used for illegal, misleading, or unauthorized purposes.

4. User Responsibilities

As a user, you agree to:

  • Not share sensitive personal data or security-critical information.
  • Use the service in a way that does not bypass technical safeguards.
  • Respect intellectual property rights and educational material.
  • Follow applicable laws, rules, and course instructions.

5. Privacy and Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable data protection law, including GDPR.

More information is available in our Privacy Policy and on the GDPR & Data Protection page.

6. AI-Based Functionality

Praxis uses artificial intelligence to generate educational responses. AI-generated content may contain errors or simplifications and should be treated as support for learning, not as an answer key.

AI processing that involves student data must be routed through reviewed EU/Sweden-resident provider routes according to customer and production configuration. Praxis must not fall back to an unreviewed route for student data. We apply strict data minimization and maintain data processing agreements (DPA) and standard contractual clauses (SCC) with relevant subprocessors.

Praxis does not guarantee specific study results or performance.

7. Intellectual Property

Praxis, its software, design, text, and structure are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. Use beyond what is permitted by these terms requires written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Praxis is provided as is. Praxis is not liable for indirect damages, consequential damages, or losses arising from use of the service, to the extent permitted by law.

9. Suspension and Termination

Praxis reserves the right to temporarily or permanently restrict access to the service in cases of misuse, security risk, or breach of these terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Swedish law and applicable data protection legislation, including GDPR.
